I'm with Liz Soares: I'd like to see my tax dollars being put to good use for a change.

For instance, universal health care (NOT health "insurance") funded from the income tax would benefit ALL citizens. No more burden on employers, no more premiums to pay, no more worries about losing access to health care if you lose your job...sounds like a fair trade to me!report abuse

Liz, you see security in Social Security, comfort because the town picks up your trash and form opinions from Michael Moore films? Do you also wait for Santa to come down the chimney Christmas eve, wait for the Great Pumpkin on Halloween? The money I earn is my property,like my land, house or auto it,s not to be shared! jm, are you really that dumb? Are you trying to justify one wrong turn by using another? You're willing to throw away all rights to property and turn them over to the government? I suppose that would be OK for you as long as it's a democrat in charge, but the minute a republican takes over you'd scream like a baby!
