curmudgeon, thanks for the input about the on ramp to 95S at Civic Center Drive, the whole layout is faulty. 95 rises to come over Civic Center Drive hiding oncoming trafic from those entering from the onramp untill the last few seconds.report abuse

Speaking of traffic issues...
Whoever the engineer was that drew up the plans for the new East Side Rotary must have been smoking something! It's worse now than ever. How can adding lanes possibly help lessen the confusion which already exists at this intersection?report abuse

Back when I was long haul trucking, I made it a point to try to be in the left lane when approaching an on ramp to facilitate the flow of traffic.

There are times when this cannot be done.

Just yesterday in my pickup, I had moved over and watched this young lady (who never once looked towards the lane) just head right onto 95 without a care in the world.

Being alert while behind the wheel is a priority.

She was lucky no one was approaching else she'd be in a world of hurt right now.

Once again it sounds like those who refuse to obey the law, dont want to take responsibility for their actions. "Make someone else have to" they whine.

Driving is a privilige not a right.report abuse
