Having served on the library board for many years in the past I am well aware of the situation involving leaks, squirrels, not to mention poor plumbing, bouncy floors and the smell of mold.
ALthough I cannot serve on the board due to health situations in our home I continue to support our library by donating whatever I can to help them continue to raise funds towards improvements. This is something we can all do !
The library is already a meeting place for many.
How wonderful it will be when we have a nice place to meet, check out books, check our email , research for young and old who have no other access to computers, socialize, etc.
With the cutbacks in education dollars what better place then a warm and inviting library can we offer our young?
Our two Librarians are always there to help anyone in need of information and their smiling faces certainly make the search easier. Now lets help them raise the money to have a nice atmosphere!
Kudoos to all of you working so hard to make our community have one more nice place to visit. Library = a bridge where pleasure meets education .report abuse
