Charlie Summers positioned himself too far to the right for such a liberal district, so he really isn't a factor. Chellie Pingree appeals strongly to the elites who call the shots in the Maine Democratic party, although Pingree being on the board of the "Wal-Mart Watch" should be a concern for many voters. "Wal-Mart Watch" is opposed to virtually everything Wal-Mart does, and you can be sure Pingree wouldn’t condescend to shop there.report abuse
