So if you do all these things you could possibly save a few dollars on your gas consumption. Here's an easier way...lower the gas prices!!! Why is it 2.99 in Newport and 3.41 in Augusta? How about investing in economic fuel technology? There are a number of technologies available to increase gas mileage that just haven't been implemented.report abuse

Go 60 instead of 65??? Only if you have a death wish as everyone else speeds well over the limit. If I drove at 60, I'd likely get hit/rammed off the highway. As it is, when I do the speed limit, I get passed like I'm standing still.report abuse
