I will be voting for Julie O'Brien! We need to get the democrats out of office---INCLUDING BALDACCI!!!! As far as the "beverage tax", I will be voting yes--to repeal the tax. I have to pay for my own insurance--state employees should also have to pay a portion of their insurance--no reason not to. SO TIRED OF TAXES!!!!!report abuse

Ms. Blodgett may have good intentions but she is naive if she thinks her party leaders will let her vote anyway other than party lines.

We have seen some very reasonable legislators leave the democrat party because they were unable to bring reason and fairness to the chamber floor.

Good luck.report abuse

Julie will do a great job for the people of District 56. A vote for Julie O'Brien is a vote to save taxpayer money. Her experience starting the Children's Museum as well as her previous 8 years in the Legislature has taught her how to really stretch the dollar yet still get things done properly.report abuse
