Working Mom of Somewhere, ME Lets get the facts straight. Your anger against this family betrays you. The original home was built back in 1915 and the home cannot be moved back 10 feet because it is grandfathered, the 10 foot rule does not apply to grandfathered buildings before there were no zoning laws enacted back then. The problem is your friend Mattie Parlin keeps on complaining about the 10 foot rule and you keep promoting her her anger against the family, you need to understand zoning laws so that you can stop harassing the family needlessly with this misguided understanding. Stop promoting your twisted view. The copy of the completed building and a photo of the current home is here www.HelpSaveOurHome.ME Anyone can see from the drawing and the current photo that the Wlodylo property would become the icon of the neighborhood, The problem is that the neighbors would have to eat crow because they have harassed the Wlodylo's continuously because they think in error that the Wlodylo's are causing delays to repair their home. The fact is its the city that is causing intentional delays. The city forces the Wlodylo's to sue them, the last time it took them 8 months to get permits and if that wasent enough, they buried the Wlodylo's tools to cause further delays and now the city refuses to let the Wlodtlo's pour a foundation thereby causing another lawsuit against the city. The Wlodylo's can't pour the foundation without permits. The city has intentional animosity, your understanding of the facts is misguided. You need to study the facts before you open your mouth.report abuse

Most everyone in the city is tired of this family. They are crazy - this house has been a "work in progress" for 30 years at least. This house should have been razed and rebuilt. It would have been done 20 years ago. Ask the poor woman whose home abuts theirs - they built the new one literally feet away from hers, rather than in the center of the lot.I have driven by this for 30 years. They have tried to sue the City for something for as long as I can remember. They made poor choices in building this home.report abuse

Get togther with others from town with issues and march on the city. You get nothing going it alone. There is security in numbers then ask for his impeachment.report abuse

City Manager Jeff Kobrock runs this town with an iron fist but this will end up costing the town some money, you watch and see. Then they will have to raise taxes again next year to pay for his screw ups. How much longer before the counsel gets the guts to dump this jerk.report abuse
