Boys and their toys. Sounds like you're more concerned with pleasing yourself then doing what's right and more practical for the kids.

Like I said before, I hope those non-essential toys taste good with some salt and pepper and help keep those kids warm this winter. Maybe they can use those imagination skills that they develop from playing with those toys and pretend that their stomachs are full and that the cold winter wind is not chilling them to the bone.report abuse

You too miss the whole point along with scrooge sprung.

Like Yankee, I've raised my family, have a bunch of grandkids, but I try to keep in close contact with my inner kid.
Doing something for others and not expecting anything in return except for that inner glow that I done something good is what its all about.
