As a planning board member who was present at this meeting, I would like to clarify that discontinuing the U-Haul business was Thad's idea, not ours. He remarked that the U-Haul operation was not as profitable as he had hoped, and required staffing and a computer, along with the issues about parking space. For these reasons he felt that ceasing the U-Haul activities would not be much of a problem for him.report abuse
