well with the economy and the price of oil and gas these days. even the middleclass is being affected. how would you like the thought of running out of oil and having no heat and the thought of freezing to death. people get desperate and the feds and the state has done nothing for the situation. people sometimes have to do what they have to do to survive and the dont like doing it. the state and the feds have done nothing about the heating situation. i am sure this is one thing this women was having to deal with.report abuse

So does this mean that people can expect to commit crimes, apologize, pay restitution (plus cushy donations) and have what they did not be ruled a crime? It just goes away? Sounds a bit elitist to me. I recognize the last name from growing up in that area and the outcome doesn't surprise me. What about the breach of trust in the community? the school system? The age of the perpetrator really should have no bearing on the outcome other than the fact that she's old enough to know better.report abuse
