Well said Mr. Liberty.

Looking at my land line phone bill I see that the Federal USF is $.75 - big deal.

I'm all for allowing some of this tax revenue to flow through to rural cellular companies for the purpose of infrastructure investment.

In addition to being an essential tool for public safety, many many small and large Maine businesses are increasingly dependent on mobile phone use by employees. So it is not hard to draw the correlation between this small tax and the potential improvement of public safety and economic development.report abuse
