Lets see:

The crash supposedly occurred shortly after 5 p.m. as Jewett was driving his 2003 Harley Davidson north.

Benjamin P. Arsenault was traveling south in the opposite lane.

Arsenault supposedly slowed to make a left turn into a drive in order to make a U-turn and turned into the path of the oncoming, North bound Jewett.

Jewett was unable to stop and struck the passenger side of Arsenault's 1992 Pontiac Sunbird.

Since sunset was around 7:24 p.m. on Wednesday, and the sun sets in the West, what effect does the sun have on the visibility of South bound car turning East in front of a bike traveling North two hours or more before sunset?report abuse

- a helemet wouldnt have saved his life (i believe)
- the sun was a factor, and the accident was at the top of a blind drive hill.

it was nothing more than accident and pure tradegy.

RIP Jasonreport abuse

I work for Central Lincoln County Ambulance as an EMT and was on my way home from work when i came upon this accident. I think people need to reconsider comments and opinions before they post them because this accident was such a tradegy. This man was 24, the same age as i am, and i had to witness and be part of the care this man recieved. This was my first trauma and fatal accident i have ever been to/part and i couldnt do anything but cry when they prounounced him dead. I just got my motorcycle license, i have a bike, the man was my age, and i couldnt save him. My condolences and sympathy are with the family of not only Jason, but with Ben as well.report abuse
