It's not increasing. Half the people always drove drunk all the time. Still do. Just because they are catching more doesn't mean it's increasing. When I got my license, way back, everybody had a bottle of beer between their legs while driving, at least all that I knew. They didn't all crash or kill somebody. In face none of them did.report abuse

We see an increase because we are far to easy on those who would drink and then drive....especially the multiple offenders.
In some countries in Europe, if you are found guilty of drinking and driving, you loose your license for one year....period. Get caught again and you loose it for a longer period. Get caught driving while your license has been suspended, you go to jail. When are we going to get tough on these criminals who would drink and then get on the road. The life we save may be mine, may be yours.report abuse
