This is not the first time Animal Welfare in conjuntion with local law enforcment has used a questionable search warrant.
Why is the DA in this case supporting a questionable seach warrant because of the evidence obtained?
What has happened to our 4th Amendmen rights?
Did we cecede from the United states?
The Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution reads as follows:
"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized."
The search and seizure provisions of the Fourth Amendment are all about privacy. To honor this freedom, the Fourth Amendment protects against "unreasonable" searches and seizures by state or federal law enforcement authorities.
Animal Welfare and law enforcement need to stop being so sloppy and start obtaining legal, bullet proof search warrants so that the possibility of people like this having animals again can stop. The end justifying the means and violation of the 4th Amendment is not the way for this to happen.report abuse
