Barack Hussein Obama is a murtad, not a muslim...

He does align himself with known terrorists and has picked up endorsments from Hamas.

He has associations with those responsible for bombing the Pentagon and NYC police HQ.

He has business dealings with an indicted Syrian real estate man as well.

He's even dressed in traditional muslim garments and boasted of attacking Pakistan and embracing Ahmadinejad.

I'm sure he has distanced himself from all of that.. so rest easy.report abuse

The sad reality is that there are no true conservative politicians. They cannot get elected. After Mr. Roosevelt "saved us all," politicians quickly learned that power was gained and kept by promising the masses of voters "goodies" from the public treasury in exchange for their vote. Republicans had to adapt to this new subsidy mentality and we ended up with liberal democrats and liberal "lite republicans." We can only limit the damage of these socialist and hope that our time will have passed before they succeed in bankrupting America and taking our place beside other former world powers.report abuse

It's undeniable that Congressional Republicans abandoned the traditional fiscal responsibility that was the hallmark of the party. The same group that forced fiscal discipline on Clinton and created the first balanced budget and surplus in years became drunk with power and embraced the corruption of pork barrel spending and earmarks as a way to maintain power. In effect, they became the Democrats.

The frightening thing is, team Obama has proposed $1 trillion in new spending, hardly the mark of fiscal responsibility.

Fortunately, there's the alternative of McCain/Palin, a pair of reformers with a record of fighting corruption and fighting for balanced budgets.report abuse

As a Blue Dog Conservative Democrat, i'll be supporting McCain/ Palin ticket. Despite the fact that Bush has shown his true colors as a liberal big spender, Obama plans to increase Federal spending another $850-$900,000,000,000. That scares the hell out of me even more and will burden our children, grand children and generations beyond with huge tax burdens.report abuse
