Save us from the piousness of politicians and their supporters.

They have no sense of humor.

Just because an ad challenges the legitimacy of a bad bill doesn't make it negative! If those ads weren't shown we would never know the Tom Allen is the sponsor of a bill that would take away a workers right to a private ballot!

I hope that this is not the only spotlight that is put on his legislative career. The man is out of touch with Mainers and support for the EFCA bill proves it.report abuse

"...your reality is not the reality of 98% of the proof offered on-line."

Nonny, really. THAT's your argument? that what you say is true because the internet says so, because you can post any number of PAC-funded sites that support what you believe? This is beneath even mockery. Please, feel free to chime in again when you can talk with the grownups.report abuse

Gerald, you ask a reasonable question when you wonder why people continue to push a lie..The answer is simple, though...It's all they've got. Some, if they stop propagating the lies on this issue, they'll be left with nothing. Others just cling to bashing unions any way they can because it's all they've got.

Either way..facing the truth is just too terrifying for them.report abuse

You democrats need to bone up on exactly what your talking about!

The Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA), would redefine the way unions conduct organizing elections.

Instead of the traditional private ballot elections, where you and you alone know how you voted, union leaders want to make voting public by having employees sign a card indicating whether they want to pay dues for union representation.

Needless to say, this public system of “voting” —commonly referred to as “card check” — is rife with intimidation, coercion and good old-fashioned peer pressure.

Protection from such behavior is why ballot booths and private voting were invented in the first place.

Voting anywhere should be a private affair and allen and the democrats are wrong on this issue, again!

Stop electing democratsreport abuse
