Take a long and relatively straight road that is smooth and free of major pot holes and within a day you're going to have at least one head on collision and a t -bone. Sorry, that's just how it IS!~report abuse

Second weekend in a row rt 3 has closed down.How many accidents do we need to have before people will stop treating this road as an interstate.People should not be going so fast that they cannot slow down in time to stop.I witnessed a car approaching the State trooper diverting traffic down into the Branch that was going so fast and for some reason didnt see the officer,his car and turning traffic that he over shot the whole thing and was made to turn around and come back.Now call me crazy but that is too fast.People need to wake up and look whats going on around them.We also need Police to sit on rt.3 once in a while before the end of tourist season.This is getting rediculous and it needs to stop.I think the state should triple speeding tickets during tourist season and maybe lower the criminal speeding limit.Maybe after a couple ruined vacations these folks will slow down.report abuse
