Sorry to comment down on this but this woman neglects to manage that both of her parents died from Cancer, her father died from his first bout with Cancer, her mother fought two forms of cancer...the second one took her. She never once helped them fight cancer she never offered to take them to chemotherapy...She never mentions that it's all about HER. After her mother died she created a family war. Is that really somebody that should be praised for what she does with cancer when she can't even mention her family nor did she ever try to help them when they had Cancer.report abuse

I think it's wonderful that she beat the lung cancer!More power to her!She's correct about how lung diseases are understudied in the U.S.Hopefully,the new science of stem cell therapy will find a cure.I was reading about The Vermont Lung Center using a type of stem cell therapy to regenerate damaged lung tissue.Perhaps some similar medical institution in Maine could collaborate with them.report abuse
