It seems what the article is saying is that teaching
applied math and science is important too. So, what happens in Maine schools? The Home Economics programs have been dropped in many schools and now I believe USM no longer carries a Technology Education(Industrial Arts) teacher degree program.
Not enough applicants! As the old teachers of these disciplines die off what will be the impacts?report abuse
