Jeepster: I don't think anyone was trying to frighten the voters into thinking "the children in Monmouth are going to end up like Oliver Twist". There was no mention of children becoming impoverished or homeless. Just that we need to spend where spending matters...in the care and education of our future citizens.
I do feel accountable. That's why I will continue to vote for a needed budget even if it cost me another whopping $50 a year.report abuse

That's SEVENTY, ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS for ONE YEAR for a school budget. I think MATH classes should be cut. Don't you???report abuse
