I suppose we can do away with at least 50% of the welfare programs in this state, and kick some those lazy folks in the a55 and tell THEM to get some "Yankee ingenuity". That could kill THREE birds with one stone. Our lazy fellow Mainers will work, our tax burden will decline, and we can do away with some of the over-burden of politicians in Augusta.
Oh, excuse me, I didn't think about where these Mainers will find a job, nor did I address where the out-of-work politicians will get a job, etc. Well, I had to sacrifice being with family and drove truck coast-to-coast for 20 years; I am sure many of these welfare folks could find something similar.
maybe I am making no sense, but I am really P.O.ed at the amount of money I have to pay this state in taxes just to hear this Governor tell me to use "Yankee ingenuity".report abuse
I will be sure to talk to the oil delivery guy about how to use less oil or the CMP guy on how to use less electricity....
Does the governor think we are idiots?report abuse
