What ever happened to 'innocent until proven guilty'? It seems to me we're all too hasty to accept an allegation as a fact. If it is, fine. But until it is, it should be recognized as what it is: an unproven allegation. Today, trial by media seems to have become the unfortunate norm.report abuse

Try doing a search on the subject matter of "Conspiracy of Silence", you'll see how organized pedophiles have been in influential government offices in high places for quite some time.report abuse

At best, Curran was a cruel, nasty man. I wouldn't name a dog after him much less a bridge!

Also, for the record, count me in with the group that believes that Curran was a perv & an abuser.

Have a nice day!report abuse

I would think that the accuser(s) would have no objection to an investigation before this man's legacy is thrown in the toilet. However, if and when the accusations are backed up it it will be time for action. His being honored by the city would be a stab in the heart for the victims of his alleged acts.report abuse
