Too bad the state put the kibosh on burn barrels . At least we'd have something to huddle around when the hammer falls this winter !report abuse

Never buy a new manufacturer's pellet stove.
They keep fixing it with updates. but will tell you it wasn't broken. Been there, did that.report abuse

Vermont Castings has a new owner. They are shipping wood stove, most are just black.
That Canadian company that bought them went bottom up after screwing their dealers by selling the grills to the Big Boxes.
Jotul is low on inventory but is shipping wood stoves from Norway. Only the better dealers sell them. Like Rocky and Gary.
Good news, oil prices are down. Next we will hear about the oil glut. Don't fill up you oil tank and car now. Wait for the price to drop.report abuse
