I recently read that chest compressions are more vital than the mouth-to-mouth breathing, and all one's energies should go to doing the chest compressions. The rationale seems to be that the blood remains oxygenated for a while, and making the heart pump it to the brain is a very good idea.report abuse

I do not understand why the average CPR training, for employees of businesses that require it,does not offer training for the AED. Makes no sense.........why not give the complete training one would need to save a heart failure victim......
Time to revise the required training.report abuse
