A ship of that size produces (on a one week voyage with 3,000 passengers) and estimated; 210,000 gallons of sewage, 25,000 gallons of bilge water, 100 + gallons of hazardous waste, 50 tons of garbage, engine emissions equivilent to thousands of automobiles and 1 million gallons of gray water.

Seems like all these eco-friendly and environmentally conscious people in the Portland area put all their concerns for the environment on hold when the cash starts to flow.

But it must feel so good to put your cans and bottles out to the curb on collection day.report abuse
