"Thomas Campbell surveys the remains of his burn Monday after it burned following a lightening (sic) strike" eh? That sounds really intelligent! Maybe the KJ should take some of the money they saved by throwing several good employees out into the street recently and hire a good proofreader. Hint: The correct spelling is "lightning".

Regarding the failure to update the news stories for three days, my question is this: What's the IT Department doing these days? Don't they have anyone who's capable of correcting the upload issue? I know that IT was one of the "effected" departments, as it was described in the memo announcing the layoffs, but the publisher assured readers that there would be no material effect on newspaper operations.

As the newspapers make the transition from print to an online format, a three day period (so far) with stale news on your web site is simply unacceptable.report abuse
