The people who made the sacrifice and "PAID" the "ULTIMATE PRICE" for their and your(the city hall bigwigs) country, apparently "IS NOT" and "WAS NOT" a high enough price to pay to have their name/and/or names as part of the name of this Augusta Civic Center! The Mayor, the city manager, the city council and any other "STUFFED SHIRTS" involved with this should be ashamed of themselves. Apparently the city officials are only interested in $$$$$(DOLLAR SIGNS)! "ULTIMATE PRICES AND SACRIFICES" do not count! Why! Again, apparently because they cannot get any more $$$$$ from these individuals that have given their all for us and "YOU"! Shame on all of you! "WELCOME TO TAXATION CITY" everybody!report abuse

Since the Civic Center carries only Pepsi Products, I can see the resulting 'mess' should it become the Coca-Cola Civic Center of Augusta. :)report abuse

Good luck trying to find anyone who wants to name the civic center after their business.
I see the article doesn't mention anyone interested in that "honor".
Has the city of Augusta wasted money on this study?
Most likely.report abuse
