The public school preK this article is referring to is available to children who will be 4 before Oct. 1. I understand Ms. Brown's child is 3 but will not fall into this range. Do you think she will actually send her child to public school?
Shelly,
Are we reading the same comments or are you having problems with comprehension? I think it would be great if all parents were as active as the ones in the article and such positive role models. It was Nonny in Fla advocating $52 dollar toys.report abuse
The cynical and mean spirited people who commented above should read the article again.
It is made clear that you are both working and have always worked to support the local economy. I feel certain you do your share of volunteer work and help those less fortunate than you. You have set a wonderful example for your daughter and for countless high school students as well. So if you want to buy a toy for your child, that is your decision- be it 52.00 or 520.00.
Best wishes from a fellow member of the CHS class of '76.report abuse
