I don't go to Zoos - reminds me of 'Planet of the Apes' movies. To cage these animals for life when they were born to roam for endless miles just for the enjoyment of humans to stare at them is cruel - there really is no other word for it.report abuse

that comment is about as stupid as it can get! People are in jail because they committed a crime...are you telling me that the lion is in a zoo because it killed an antelope...? I am however, glad to see that somebody is taking a look at the jail population to help those inmates integrate into society who show promise... the other ones... well, keep them in "cages".report abuse

Zoos are just animal prisons and jails are just people cages. Both are cruel and inhumane.report abuse
