If this bond is approved, please note, your taxes WILL GO UP....period.

Don't forget, a bond is a loan that must be paid back (by someone). It's not free money from above.

What happens to the tens of millions of dollars that voters approve for road projects in every major election? I'd be very surprised if it goes toward improving our roads and transportation infrastucture. Show me the money! The last 20 years of it and you might justify asking for more.report abuse

In Maine, My job has always been between 15-30 miles from home. I suggest you MANDATE that all KJ employees hike or bike to work before suggesting it as a simplistic cure for the "rest of us."
(In fact, the same goes for all the legislators in Augusta. We’ll even pay for their bikes.)report abuse
