WONDERFUL article! What a smart and ambitious young woman...the perfect commencement speaker! The reason this young woman worked so hard is because she appreciated everything she received, especially education. We Americans are so spoiled compared to so many others around the world that we often lack appreciation. We take things (like education) for granted and also want instant gratification. This young woman knew the meanings of sacrifice and determination! And congrats to those who saw her potential and worked diligently to bring her to the U.S. to study. Good going!!!report abuse
