Hey Opionionated Reader, and everyone else saying the money is going out of State. Pike Industries is a New England wide company owned by a Company called Old Castle Industries of Ireland. Pike purchased several Maine construction comepanies a few years ago and many of the people that worked for Blue Rock, Bridge Corp, and others are still there doing thier jobs. The money is not leaving the State. Pike will make profit of course, and reinvest in the Maine employees, and equipment dealers, and truck perchases, and so on. Just the headquarters are in Belmont NH. The workers are here.report abuse

Why are they giving credit to the Maine DOT? The contractor is coming from NH. We don't even trust our own State employees to fix our roads.report abuse
