Zoning can be changed to severely restrict use of one's land. If you have undeveloped land beware.report abuse

Mr. Hardy - a landowner can only willingly give up or sell their development rights through a conservation easement. There is no law that allows a land trust to take someone's property rights - it's a voluntary, negotiated real estate transaction.report abuse
