I do conserve on electricity-we heat with wood only, I use energy effient light bulbs, I cook with gas, I have a gas dryer & hang my clothes to dry, I wash in cold water, we turn lights off when we are not in the room, we have a monitor hot water heater which uses K-1, all of our major appliances are energy effient and no one is home using anything about 10 hours a day five days a week and our CMP bill is still extremely high.report abuse

Electricty is still the cheapest thing you can buy
today.Based on an hourly rate,it's always there,my bill was less than a penny an hour.

Provided it actually happens-

Provided it doesn’t come with an inflated price tag, or ongoing service fee-

Provided it doesn’t mean greasing an out going politician to make it happen-

Provided it means any power provider can offer cheaper power-

Then yes, it would be a good thing…
