When will we ever drive a stake through the hearts of these malcontents? The Law Court, in a nineteen-page unanimous decision, rejected Ms. Marvin's appeal of the Superior Court decision which upheld the City's sale of the former Cony High School property to Hannaford so long as the proceeds of the sale were used to further Daniel Cony's original intent to educate Augusta's youth. The message didn't get through. They've been hammered again by the Superior Court in this latest lawsuit. They'll be fortunate if the Law Court doesn't impose financial sanctions on them for this patently frivolous appeal. By the way, I note that their former lawyer, Mr. Mehnert, has wisely decided not to fly this particular kamikaze mission. Does that send a message, too?report abuse

Does a judge have to rule on cases they way you or I want them to or can they rule what they think is right?report abuse

NO! What Jabar did in other cases is most relevant. It shows the way that this man thinks, and therefore judges. All one has to do is look at his history as a judge, and it's easy to see how this socialist judge will rule in the future. Type of case not withstanding.report abuse
