Any effort to help Maine's most important natural resource; its inland waterways,should be applauded.
I wish that a grant would fund actual live study experimentaiton of how unnatural regulation of lake water levels encourages the spread of invasive species. In Maine
like most lake group promote, lakes are kept constantly high through the summer and fall with a
reduced natural fluctuation and loss of between the
years variability. Working with nature the milfoil eradicators could have a better chance.report abuse
