Could be the reason why there are so many cancers in kids today. When I was a kid, it was almost unheard of to have someone attending school who had cancer, yet now it's relatively common and kids dying from cancer is common. So I think it has affected people longer than what we knew.report abuse

"Among scientists, these findings have heightened worries about human health risks from decades of constant, low-level exposure to random combinations of drugs. The consequences could include reproductive problems, early onset of puberty, and antibiotic resistance -- but much remains unknown."

If we've be exposed for decades then wouldn't any effects show up in health data from the last few decades? Wouldn't a meta-analysis show a correlation between the beginning of exposure to pharmaceuticals in drinking water and those health issues?report abuse
