People of China and surounding area! In my opinion, Hannaford let their customers get financially raped by sitting on the information that they had on the security breach that happened recently at their store! They let that happen by, not by getting hit with that breach, but by sitting on the information of said breach for what I see as weeks before notifying their so called valued customers that their credit and debit cards had been compromised! Hannaford let that compromise happen for the worse by not letting their so called valued customers know immediately of said threat! Hannaford put their bottom line and name ahead ahead of their customers! That is some company that you are letting in the China area! There may be a double whammy in that also! It is usually called a "tax break"! And guess who makes up the difference of this said tax break! The local taxpayers, that's who! Tax breaks are usually good for 10,15 maybe 20 years. That means that the company getting the tax break does not pay it's full share of taxes for that length of time! Try to get a tax break on your property taxes and see what you are told! You will be laughed out of your tax office so fast, it will make your head spin! Welcome to "TAXATIONLAND" y'all!report abuse

I don't know if this is a good thing for China or not, I don't live there, but Hannaford obviously believes that the population density of the area will increase. I would suggest that anyone who lives there and values the feel of being in the country move to Albion, or beyond. But stay long enough for the coming subdivisions to raise your property values, then get out.report abuse
