You don't need experience to work in retail. You need a strong back. Of course, you have to work 60 hours to pay the rent.

As far as your being fired for your mouth...well, maybe there's a message in that.

One thing everyone has right...Dirigo sure is a pipe dream and a boondoggle.

I've sat here reading complaints about everything for months now. Why on earth doesn't someone get up and DO something?? Talk is cheap.
March on Augusta. Start a blog. (They're free.) Make some noise.

Don't sit at your keyboard and whine like kiddies. Make some noise.

Steve you are right about not knowing my situation. I have physical limitations that would keep me from getting a retail job, fast food resturant job, waitressing job. It has been my experience through the career center in Augusta if you don't have experience in job areas you are less likely to be hired.

I am not one who wants freebies. I working a part time job, collecting next to nothing from unemployment, living off food stamps and going to the local food bank.

I am currently going for interviews. There a lot of people who are in the same boat as I am. My experience is in the administrative field. I have no experience in retail, waitressing, fast foods. With my mouth, attitude I would not last a month let alone a year. I would be fired.

So please do not judge me on something you don't know. Do you have a full time job with health benefits?report abuse

Farmero8 is so right. More people voted for TABOR than Mr. B. Apparently he still didn't get it. Get more insurance co. in. Let them bid. Compete with each other. Most of the people using this program already had insurance any way.report abuse
