I would like to know the name of the individual working for DOT who made the decision to erect the fence. That person certainly exercised poor judgement and should be released from further DOT obligations. In other words, replace him or her. It is clear that they abuse their power and waste our hard-earned.report abuse

I saw the photo of the fence. Appears to me that is is an obstruction to firefighters and/or rescue personnel if there was ever an incident or fire on the property.report abuse

Upon further reflection, I wonder if it may be in the public interest to request copies of correspondence between the involved agencies and the property owners. Let's see what was said by whom and what positions the respective parties took. Might help sort out the "who said what when" part of this story.report abuse
