WOW...alleged stealing from a father and uncle! Often it's drug use or gambling that's behind such crimes (or just plain greed, of course). Don't companies and charitable foundations have some form of oversight ("checks and balances")? Some people are just too trusting!

I'm surprised no one in the company missed that amount of money for 5 years. That's a significant piece of change in Central Maine. I'm also surprised no one noticed that Ms. Caron seemed more well-off than her bookkeeper's salary would indicate. In any event, it must be hard for the two men, her father and her uncle, to think she would do this to the company they founded and owned.
