What are you saying? The amendments are part of the Constitution. When has Ron Paul EVER said he would disregard ANY of the amendments to the Constitution? More importantly, HOW would he ever bypass any amendments without the cooperation of the Congress and courts?report abuse

Jonathan Albrecht of Dixfield, ME Don & Pam are repeating the fiction that liberatarian revisionists like to try and sell that the Constitution only gave the Federal Government power to regulate "trade and commerce" and that all other powers were delegated to the States. Nonsense. Read the document. The Constitution required the Congress to "provide for the (national) defense and general welfare (of the country)". The Constitution in several places gave the Federal Government the power to do what was necessary to accomplish these roles. The Constitution also in many way endorsed Slavery.
