Vermont's themes of thriftiness and frugality share common roots with Maine values.

It is interesting to note that in Vermont the citizens support a "150-member House of Representatives" and separate Senate. Of course, they have half Maine's population.

Any expatriates know whether the whining quotient about the size of the legislature is as high in the Green Mountain State as it is here?report abuse
