We will pay for the boomers, they have proven themselves to be the most selfish and greedy generation of all Americans (and yes, I am at the tail end of the Boomers). Never trust anyone over 30, at least until they were over 30, still borrowing money from their parents, materialistic ans self centered they expect society to cater to their every desire. You have to love their their music, life choices and morals or their is something wrong with you. The ones that have been under achievers blame evil big business, Republicans, etc., it is never THEIR fault. Mommy and Daddy instilled in them that it was never their fault.

Of course we will pay for them, we will pay a financial price and the nation has paid a price for them in the form of a more fractured and less tolerant America.report abuse

Maggie, you need to be honest. Here's the link and there's nothing radical about a group that is a watchdog group on spending policy. What's "radical" is a 95 million dollar deficit!

How to pay for long term care? Save for it. Buy a policy. Tear up the credit cards. Live within ones means. Drive old cars. Don't take vacations if you can't afford them. Buy from consignment stores. Lord, how did our parents and grandparents ever survive?! They didn't use credit (if they even had it) unless they paid it off monthly. They weren't ashamed to be poorer than their neighbors. They created budgets. They didn't buy "stuff" just for the sake of saying they had "stuff." DEBT by choice is KILLING my generation and the generations that follow. Then we witch and moan and want big government so we can steal from Peter to pay us (Paul)! What nerve we have...report abuse

CJ of Randolph. I couldn't agree more with you. A living will or advance directive is the ONLY way to go. My kids' dad has advanced stage Parkinson's. The way that poor man is living is an absolute crime. Every time I read a story about how people are more and more often living to the age of 100, I just cringe. If I can't follow a storyline or fully participate in decisions about my health, I want to be put out of my misery. That's NOT living and I don't want any part of it.report abuse
