Is there a closet tax?

Hmmm Legislature is in session. Maybe they should look into it.

My house has two actual closets. Both are way too small to live in. Shhhhh. They only know about one of them.

I migrated in the early 80's from the closet to the attic. It heated easier.report abuse

Felix, you just don't get it it is all about choices. You had the opportunity to apply for a government job, but then you would have to put up with the union bull s--t for twenty years. That's probably as much as any sane person could stand. I also chose not to work in government but in the private sector at a non union blue collar job. I worked hard and spent all I made and more, then I got smart. I paid off all my debts, started saving and was able to retire, not at forty six but at least I didn't have to work till seventy. This is because I planned ahead and didn't buy every little thing I thought I had to have on credit. I tried that before and it didn't work.
What I am saying is quit whining and get to work and you will be able to retire in comfort. If you focus on what others have that you don't you will continue to be miserable. If you focus on getting only what you need you should be content. We all make choices and have to live with the results.

Happiness is a choice, take it or leave it.report abuse
