It's the times and bias has nothing to do with it. William Randolph Hearst owned 26 newspapers and made a fortune. Hearst was the most biased newspaper owner in America's history who actually controlled his editors with threats. Thanks to his lies in the media about what caused the sinking of the battleship Maine, he is responsible for starting the Spanish-American War. No2Socialism, your comment makes me think you might have been the perfect lackey for William Randolph Hearst. I see the Kennebec Journal as an excellent newspaper - and one that presents the news objectively.report abuse

If the new owners want to succeed, their first action should be to fire all of the liberal and new-age democrats they have as writers/reporters. The clear bias must go, as it has no place in true news reporting.report abuse
