I've noticed that you've been practicing the art of propaganda in that you understand the emotional ideas of the great masses and you've found, through a psychologically correct form, the way to gain the attention and the hearts of the broad masses. It's a good thing for you that our bright boys and girls do not understand this, but that merely shows how mentally lazy and distracted a lot of them are.

Time will tell and if I'm right, don't hold it personally against me, I didn't have anything to do with accelerating this move towards fascism, I merely pointed out it's happenings.report abuse

Since you had no problems quoting famous figures here is one I've found that is fitting given your remarks about our brave men and women who paid the ultimate price.

"They gave their best for something held dearer than joy—something of good beyond their personal experience; the giving of which, in this world's estimation, is of such cost that it cannot be justified by your understanding but only in your overpassing faith.

We do not live for self.... We are a part of a larger life, reaching before and after, judged not by deeds done in the body but deeds done in the soul. We wish to be remembered. Willing to die, we are not willing to be forgotten." Joshua Chamberlain (Memorial Day) 1884report abuse

I'm sure they'll return to a warm welcome from their family, friends and supporters.

They will go on with their military careers or return to civilian life as police officers, fire fighters, EMT/Paramedics, doctors, construction workers, electricians etc.

They don't expect people like yourself to understand their personal and in some cases professional sacrifices.

They realize there is a vocal minority that loathe them but, for every one of you there are a thousand of me who respect, admire and honor their patriotism.report abuse

All because of a faked, instigated and trumped up war on terror, what a waste of life and property.

But Hey, I guess lately that's what Americans are best known for throughout the world, taking advantage of a situation to gain financial security in their lives.

Just think, when some of those collective 5,500 years of extended service come back here, they'll get to apply their talents by terrorizing and beating up defiant people on the highways and city streets, along with kicking in doors of those constitutionalists, academics and political dissenters out there.

I mean an agent provocateur has got to do what a provocateurs got to do, in order to make ends meet in these hard financial and economical times ahead.report abuse
