Who will Paul supporters vote for now?
Maine’s Ron Paul supporters made a strong showing at the state Republican Convention, even electing one of their own as a delegate to the national convention.
But now that Paul is officially out of the race, who will they support?
A story on politico.com details their options, from Libertarian candidate Bob Barr to Constitution Party candidate Chuck Baldwin. And, of course, the campaigns for major party candidates Sen. John McCain and Sen. Barack Obama say they will reach out to the Paul diehards.
Closer to home, Bonnie Jean Tucker, a Paul supporter from Augusta, said she’s not going to vote for anyone on the ballot.
“I’m not supporting McCain,” she said. “I’m probably going to write-in Ron Paul. I think a lot of Ron Paul people feel that way.”
Tucker, who had filed to run for the state House of Representatives as a Republican, said she dropped out of the race because she doesn’t feel part of the party. An independent, she joined the GOP this year to support Paul.
She would have faced incumbent Rep. Patsy Crockett, D-Augusta.
In the presidential race, Tucker said she doesn’t see much difference between Obama and McCain.
“I think they are about the same,” she said. “I don’t think there’s a lesser evil.”
Ron Paul does NOT want us to write in his name. You'll have to google it to find the article.
Please find another candidate to vote for.

I have seen conflicting reports about whether Dr. Paul wants us to write in his name or not. One thing I know for sure is that I HAVE to write in his name. He stands for everything I believe in, not to mention he's the ONLY person who understands the economy and has ways to help turn it around. I need to be able to look into my children's eyes and say I voted for integrity, honesty, liberty and PEACE. Ron Paul is the ONLY choice for me.

The difference between Ron Paul's brilliance alone (read his book, The Revolution: a Manifesto) and the other candidates is so vast, I remain speechless that Americans would settle for less. They only believe what they read in the paper and see on the television.
I too, shall write in Ron Paul even if it invalidates my vote. Because I will vote my conscience. Ron Paul has cured my apathy, and for that I am grateful.
But, Billary can't balance a checkbook let alone the national debt:

Barack Hussein Obama DID study Islam a little when he was a child:

Obama also refused to go to his native Hawaii or to Alaska because they wasn't important enough to his campaign in the "57 STATES". Big Freudian slip there, but, by the way, there ARE 58 Islamic NATIONS:

And, lastly McCain couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag, finishing 894th out of 899 in his Naval Academy, then proceeding to carelessly lose five jets!:

I may write in Ron Paul. I may stay home. I haven't decided. Do I want to be hanged with a hemp rope, or nylon? It's not very important, is it? No one can win as a write-in, and the media don't even show the numbers.
The important thing now is to sign up for the Campaign For Liberty, to take the fight to the local and state level, and to work to put real Republicans into the House and Senate.

Here is what Ron Paul had to say about write-in votes for him:
"I don’t think that’s very productive. Supporters can do it, of course, but IN MOST OF THE STATES IT WON'T COUNT. And if they can change the rules in a primary and not count all the votes, imagine what they could do with write-in votes!" [emphasis mine]
